2024 - IT consultant at axaz

Streamlining projects and workflow

I was part of a team at Axaz working on prototyping a new application to help organize projects and how to connect this application to their accounting system 💪📦.

Here, a “project” is referring to a move done by the moving company - which requires vehicles, moving boxes, equipment, employees and more. They also need to keep track of the hours employees are working, what equipment or cars are in use at any time, as well as the amount of trash collected. As you can imagine, it can quickly turn into a lot of paperwork 🤯

On this project, I had a key role as UX designer, and did interviews, workshops and prototyping in Figma🕵️🎨.

  • I worked in the team as a UX designer. I led collaberative workshops and interviews with employees at the company, and worked in FigJam mapping and analyzing results. Furthermore I made a prototype in Figma.

  • The project started spring 2024, and is still ongoing.

About the project

What was the issue?

  • The moving company spent a lot of time and energy keeping track of projects

  • Their current project tracking system made it hard to extract data to use for their other systems

Interviews and workshops

  • We did collaborative workshops with employees from the company were I took a leading role.

  • Here, I looked into their current ways of working, and pinned down pain points and issues.

Analyzing and prototyping

  • We spent time analyzing and mapping out data to create a overview of their internal processes.

  • Based on this and feedback from the company, we created a prototype for a application to streamline how they work today.

As the project is still ongoing, I am unable to share images of the final product. Images are edited to remove private content.
