2024 - IT consultant at axaz
Managing logistics
I was part of a team at Axaz working on creating a new application to help organize communication and shipping orders for a Air logistics company.
The company ships fish worldwide by plane, and get orders for shipping from big companies like Lerøy or Nordlaks 🐟. Then they handle the shipping to all parts of the world - from Japan to the USA 🌍.
Communication is a big part of their business, but it was scattered on various different communication channels. They also had a order system that needed to be replaced, and therefore wanted a new system that integrated communication to customers as well as keeping track of orders.
On this project, I had a key role as UX designer, and did interviews, workshops and prototyping in Figma🕵️🎨. I also developed the application in Appfarm.

I worked in the team as a UX designer and developer. I had main responsibility of producing digital prototypes in Figma, as well as workshops. I also spent time developing the application using the Low-Code tool Appfarm.

The project started in August 2023 in Oslo, and the application began development in January 2024. It is currently still in development.
About the project
What was the issue?
Communication with customers on many channels resulted in a lack of control over interactions and deals
Outdated order system that needed replacing
Workshops and interviews
To further document and map out working processes, we conducted multiple interviews with employees and other stakeholders outside of the company. We also developed multiple prototypes in Figma, which we refined with the company iteratively.
Prototyping and development
After working on the prototype we begun development in the low-code platform Appfarm. This allowed for fast development, which made it faster to test the application on employees.
It was very exciting to see an application truly go from idea to finished product, and I learnt a lot from the process 🧠
As the project is still ongoing, I am unable to share images of the final product. Images are edited to remove private content.
